The HBIA, through it’s affiliation with the National Retail Association (NRA) remains part of the most effective advocate and service provider for the hairdressing and beauty industry both at a national and state level. The HBIA and NRA represent a vast number of hair, beauty and retail businesses making the Association the first port of call for government, media, regulators and other industry participants. By maintaining strong links with government the HBIA and NRA are able to influence and direct policy that may affect these industries.
The focus of the Association is and will remain on the needs of our members, at both state and national levels, and is reflected in all aspects of our operations, from the management of national policy issues to the way the we deal with state specific matters.
The last year has seen the HBIA / NRA actively representing the interest of members at both a state and national level on a range of issues impacting on the retail sector.
